Still Pleased As Daggers Complete Successful Easter

Dag & Red boss John Still says his side making it three unbeaten with two good performances during Easter has left him pleased.

A 2-1 victory against Maidstone United followed on from a battling point at Gateshead, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I thought first-half we were good, we battled on and defended well in the second," Still told the club's website.

"The organisation, to ensure they couldn't get in behind us, we did all we could.

"All in all we have to say it has been a good Easter for this club with the two games, the results and the performances.

Still wants that mentality to continue and says it will.

"We don't draw many, we are always pushing for the wins and will continue to do so."
