Still No Victory For Herrera's Luckless Gulls

Managerless Torquay United were incredibly unlucky not to secure their first win under temporary manager Robbie Herrera - according to the man himself.

The Gulls were forced to settle for a point at home to Chester FC.

Ross Hannah popped up with a late leveller to secure a valuable point for the Blues and leave Torquay heads in hands.

They thought they had done enough to win it, said the interim manager following an eventful match at Plainmoor.

“Mixture of emotions really. I thought it was a decent performance from the lads,” said Herrera to the club's official website.

"They gave it a really good go, lots of positives to take from the game attacking wise and chances created, my only critic is we didn’t finish them off."

There is no further news on Torquay's hunt for a new manager.

They have been under the guidance of Herrera since the Devon club parted company with Kevin Nicholson ten days into the National League season.
