Still Believes League Is Strong Ahead Of Saturday's Big Clash

The National League is strong this year says a man who would know!

Experienced Dagenham and Redbridge manager John Still believes the division is just as tough as ever.

The Daggers head to the Laithwaite Community Stadium tomorrow to take on Woking, one of this season's surprise packages.

Dagenham sit just behind the Cards, in fourth, and are understandably expecting a difficult match.

"Woking have had a good start. The league is strong this year. There's people saying that it's so tight, it's not such a good league, I think it's the opposite," said Still, who won the title in 2013-14 with Luton Town.

"If you look at the teams struggling down the bottom, they're being beat sometimes 1-0 and by the odd goal. Teams are organised, disciplined and tough to play against. I thought Torquay were good last week.

"We watched them at home the previous week against Macclesfield and they didn't deserve to get beat. Torquay won 4-0 the other night. That puts into perspective how good a result we got against them.

"All the sides at the bottom are tough games, you expect the ones at the top to be tough. It's small margins sometimes between winning and losing."
