Stenson's Now At Solihull As Brakes' Man Moves On Up

Solihull Moors have secured the services of one of the National League North’s most highly-rated strikers.

Leamington forward Matty Stenson arrives at the club for an undisclosed fee. He signs an 18-month contract.

The 24-year-old has six league goals already and he makes the short move having won the Player of the Month for August.

He told the website he’s over the moon that the deal has been done after plenty of speculation.

“I’ve been quite excited over these last few weeks,” said the forward, who has been added to Tim Flowers’ striking options.

“The club’s going in the right direction. I’ve met with the gaffer, the assistant and Mark Fogarty and they’ve really sold it to me – where they want to go and what their plan is, so I’m looking forward to it.

“Everyone wants to play as high as they can, so I’m going to come into the National League and hopefully carry it on. I can’t wait to go out there and show what I can do.”
