Stand And Deliver! Chester Secure An Off-field Boost

By Sam Elliott

Chester’s Blues have turned to Red Insure as the Vanarama National League club secure a vital new sponsor ahead of the new season.

The local insurance company will take over the naming rights the ground’s East Stand – and it will bring in vital money for the club.

Chief Executive Mark Maguire knows how important the link is with local businesses as Chester prepare for kick-off against Solihull Moors on the 5th of August.

“This is the latest important signing for Chester FC as we continue to reshape the club on and off the field,” Maguire told the club’s website this afternoon.

“We have obviously had an exciting summer in player recruitment terms and I am happy that this is being matched by the strengthening of our commercial partnerships.

“Red Insure have a strong association with football, having been involved for some time with the National League, they are based in Chester and during discussions in recent months have clearly bought into the plan that we have to build a platform for future success.”

The Blues continue their preparation for the new season with a game against Altrincham this evening.
