St Ledger Disappointed As Lions Lose Despite Good Start

By Tom Feaheny

Guiseley interim boss Sean St Ledger says his side showed the work that needs to be done after another loss.

A 3-1 defeat to Maidenhead United means Guiseley are now seven games without picking up a point, writes Tom Feaheny.

Defender St Ledger who is in the role until further notice saw his side take the lead through Dayle Southwell but they couldn't hold on and lost 3-1.

"It has been a hetic week and I have enjoyed it with the build-up but it is a result that disappointed me," St Ledger said.

"We started well and played some good attacking stuff, but the goals we conceded were ones we could have avoided."

With a game coming up on Tuesday, St Ledger said about his future.

"I am in charge on a game by game basis and I know what we need to do to get the results and improve, I am happy to help out wherever possible."
