Special Weekend For Solihull Youngster

It’s been a special weekend for Solihull Moors academy striker Romario Martin.

The 18-year-old made his senior international debut for St Kitts & Nevis – and scored the winner in their 1-0 friendly victory against Grenada with virtually his first touch.

Martin capitalised on an error just moments after coming off the bench for the Sugar Boyz to slot home on the hour mark at Warner Park.

That’s now two goals in four appearances for his national team after featuring for the under-20s earlier this year.

The attacker also scored against USA under-20s back in February.

Martin has featured twice for the Solihull Moors first-team in the National League this season, coming on as a substitute against AFC Fylde and Sutton United.
