It was back to business on the season’s second Saturday - and back with a bang for some of the fancied sides and their deadly attackers!

Despite first day struggles, title tips Barnet grabbed their first points. They left Ebbsfleet 2-1 winners, Callum Stead back in the groove with two goals in Kent.

Forest Green look like they’ll score goals. They blitzed Boston 4-0, Cristian Doidge was at the double and so was Liam Sercombe.

Solihull Moors are back on track and they defeated Maidenhead 2-1, Tahvon Campbell the match winner.

Sutton United had five different scorers as they smothered Altrincham as Oldham Athletic win again - they defeated Wealdstone with Harry Charsley the difference, he scored five minutes from time.

Gateshead left Woking as winners - but the result was almost insignificant following a horror injury to midfield inspiration Greg Olley

Ollie Pearce scored as York City edged Tamworth with Paul McCallum at the double for Eastleigh as they came from behind to win against AFC Fylde.

Morgan Williams got Yeovil Town on the board, they left Braintree Town successful as Rochdale and Dagenham ended 1-1.

Josh Barrett was the Aldershot Town hero as they came home from FC Halifax with maximum reward. Hartlepool and Southend United fired blanks.
