Snodin Is Released By Alfreton

Alfreton Town have confirmed that an agreement between the club and defender Jordan Snodin has been reached to cancel his contract by mutual consent.

Snodin signed a one-year deal with the Reds in July 2017 and featured during our pre-season campaign but has made just one substitute appearance in the 2017/18 season.

Snodin was recently loaned to Evo-Stik League North outfit Ossett Albion in September.

Reds boss John McDermott told the club`s press officer Amar Sharma: "We have mutually agreed to cancel Jordan's contract. He has been a good lad to work with and he is a good player. Unfortunately, other players become available which turn heads and he had moved down the pecking order in terms of selection.

"It's benefical for Jordan to leave us and gain the minutes he needs for his development, we have left on good terms and we wish him all the best in his future career".
