Sinnott Wants Trinity's Performance To Equal Results

Gainsborough Trinity boss Lee Sinnott knows that his side playing well means little if points are being picked up.

It is now four loses in a row for the side ahead of playing Spennymoor Town.

"I feel like a broken record, we have played nice stuff again and once again not got anything," Sinnott told the club's website.

"The thing holding us back is putting the ball in the back of the net, that must change for us now.

"I think in recent games the effort has clearly been there, it shows that I think 2-0 flattered the league leaders against us last time around."

Sinnott knows that the next few games certainly mean a lot.

"Easter is crucial for us, we can do ourselves a lot of good in a short space of time, we need to approach the games positively."
