Sinnott Adds Two To His Gainsborough Trinity Squad

Lee Sinnott, the new manager of Gainsborough Trinity, has added two new players to his squad.

Brandon Fleming has joined Trinity on an initial month`s loan from SkyBet Championship side Hull City, where he has made one solitary first-team appearance - in the Tigers' EFL Cup defeat to Doncaster Rovers back in the Autumn.

An attacking left-back,with an eye for goal, Fleming (pictured) is fresh into his second year as a professional having originally signed pro-forms in January 2017.

With Sinnott keen to add quality to his threadbare squad, the manager pointed to the youngsters obvious pedigree, telling the club`s website: "Brandon has been with Hull since the age of nine and has been schooled in the right way and with the academy there having been promoted to a stage two academy, they are competing to a very high standard in national terms, to be able to attract this type of talent to the club."

Also signing for Trinity is wide player Nicky Walker, whose last club was Evo-Stik League Premier outfit Shaw Lane AFC.

Walker began his career with Rotherham United, starting a two-year scholarship with the club in the summer of 2011.

He made his professional debut whilst still a youth player in November 2012, in a 4–2 win over Cheltenham Town.

Soon after, Walker was linked with many Championship clubs keen to sign him.

Walker signed his first professional contract at the club soon after and in October 2013, he joined Conference (National League) North side Barrow AFC on a month`s loan.

Once his loan spell at Barrow came to an end Walker's contract with Rotherham was extended for another season.

Following unsuccessful spells on loan with Wycombe Wanderers and Grimsby Town, Walker was released by Rotherham and joined National League North side Boston United.

Following a stint at Buxton, Walker arrived at Shaw Lane for the start of the 2017/18 season.
