Silkmen Borrow Latics Forward

Vanarama National League club Macclesfield Town have confirmed the...

...loan signing of forward Rhys Turner from Sky Bet League One side Oldham Athletic.

The 20-year-old has signed an initial loan deal keeping him with the Silkmen until January 30th.

Turner spent his youth career with his Preston North End and Lancaster City before joining Stockport County as an 18-year-old.

He quickly caught the eye there and joined Oldham in January 2014.

He has since made twenty-five appearances for Oldham, scoring 3 goals.

Turner also spent a spell on loan with League Two side York City earlier this season where he scored once in nine appearances.

The forward will now look to impress during his time with the Silkmen and will look to get in to the matchday squad for the visit of FC Halifax Town on Saturday.
