The centre back is the latest National League player to link up with Martin Allen.
The defender’s contract at the EBB expired at the end of the season and he decided to make a career change after the club fell short in the play-offs.
Evans, a mainstay in the Shots defence over the past few years, has left for the division’s new boys.
He joins Wrexham’s Sam Wedgbury, Macclesfield goalkeeper Shwan Jalal and Barnet man Michael Nelson who have all signed on at the ProAct.
Allen posted a message to fans on the club’s website confirming a deal for Evans was done.
“This afternoon we have signed a 26-year-old centre-back called Will Evans, who is good in the air, quick, good on the ball and he’s had in the last two years, experience of getting into the play-offs at this level,” he wrote.
“At 26, he’s in his prime and he has signed a two-year contract.”
