The Shots conceded a late equaliser on Tuesday night at home to high-flying Dagenham and Redbridge after being reduced to ten men.
Adam McDonnell put the home side ahead in the first-half until Jake Gallagher's red card just after the hour mark altered the course of the game, leaving Sam Ling able to smash in a leveller with four minutes left.
Waddock felt it should have been three points for his side although following this small setback, he's still concentrating on where they are come the end of the season.
"We're not getting the rub of the green really in a number of different areas," he said. "We'll battle through it, keep positive and remain focused on the end goal because that's the most important part.
"Whether you go on a run of winning whatever amount of games on the trot or you chip away at it, it doesn't matter. It's where you end up at the end of the season.
"Nobody has been able to take the league by the scruff of the neck and go on a run as such.
"Everybody is losing points and I'm not necessarily worried about them, I'm worried about how we play, how we perform and where we finish."
