“We can only control what we are trying to do,” said Waddock to BBC Surrey at Cressing Road.
“It’s four points from two away games, and two clean sheets as well.
“It’s out of our hands what other teams do. We just need to focus on getting our results right.
“I’m very pleased,” he added. “The players deserve a lot of credit and this is an important result in our season.
“Now it’s a case of building on what we have managed to do.
“We go into a home fixture with two good away results under our belt and after getting our first victory for some time.”
