Shaymen Showing Improvement Says Content Fullarton

Jamie Fullarton wouldn’t criticise his FC Halifax players despite losing a two-goal lead at Leyton Orient.

Town came away with just a point after playing well in East London.

It was the second time this season that they have been hit by never-say-die Orient in time added on.

But the manager says the fact they did so well for so long underlines their improvement this season.

“The game plan went as well as it could have done, we looked a threat and created opportunities and we demonstrated what we are,” he told Shaymen TV.

“To come here with the environment you’re playing in, with the five-and-a-half thousand fans and with the team going for the title, I think we showed our strengths and what we’re about.

“But for the second time this season we’ve been sucker punched in injury time.

“To concede the second goal in injury time is disappointing to say the least, but you’ve got to give credit to the players and how they went about the game.

“The step-in progression is to see out these types of games, as a team and as a group.”
