Dunnwald-Turan was formerly with German side TSG 1881 Sprockhovel and joined Rovers in the summer.
The 22-year-old started out at Fortuna Dusseldorf and was then with SG Unterrath Jugend, Rot-Weis Oberhausen and MSV Duisburg before signing for TSG in August 2016.
He has been playing in Rovers` development squad this season and to date has made one substitute appearance for the first-team away to Portsmouth earlier in the season
Head coach Marc McGregor told the club`s official website: “We are really pleased that we have added more quality to our squad. Coming in to the run-in and with us having our focus on a play-off place we will need options both in wide areas and striking positions.
“It is important we keep the squad competitive, injuries and suspensions can come in to play and we need to ensure we are prepared for these eventualities”.
