Saunders Wants Concentration To Be Kept For Replay

Maidstone United take on Gateshead for the third game in a row with boss Jay Saunders saying they need to keep their concentration.

The two sides meet in the FA Trophy replay tonight with a trip to Leyton Orient in the fourth round on the line, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I thought at 1-0 we were comfortable, two lapses of concentration and we are behind all of a sudden," Saunders told the club's website.

"We couldn't get that second goal when ahead, then we are chasing the end of it.

"The replay is a chance to try and improve that concentration as we are conceding due to lapses.

"As a back three we looked solid, but we have again conceded twice, it's frustrating to have the replay as with 80 minutes gone we had done enough to win it.

"The last ten we go behind and get that late goal so of course I'm pleased to have a chance to stay in the competition."
