Burton joined the Tigers in the summer from Shrewsbury Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal, with Hull having the option to extend the deal for a further twelve months, and will be part of the club’s under-23 development squad.
Burton joined Shrewsbury direct from school and quickly found himself elevated to the international stage by earning England Youth international honours.
He made his Three Lions debut for the under-16s in a 1-0 win over Spain in Madrid and was also capped at under-17 and under-18 level.
He made his senior debut for Shrewsbury on the final day of the 2015/16 season, and had loan spells with Market Drayton Town, Workington AFC, Nuneaton Town and AFC Telford United whilst with the Shrews.
