Salford 'Superb' But Then Told To Do That Every Single Week!

Graham Alexander feels his Salford City side set the standard last night.

An impressive 2-0 win at AFC Fylde was the club’s first National League away win. Watch match highlights here.

The manner of the performance is what pleased the Ammies manager the most as they ended the Coasters’ undefeated start.

Now Alexander wants them to reach those levels every week.

“I’m over the moon with the performance, I thought they players were superb,” he told the club’s YouTube channel.

“We know Fylde are a really good team and you can see why they were unbeaten.

“It was an all-round performance from back to front which was right up there, and that’s the standard we have to find now.

“You could go through every player in that squad and pat them on the back because I thought they were superb.

“It was good to get that away win. The performances at home have been really good but it’s only half your season.

“So to come to Fylde and get our first away win is really pleasing.”
