Saints Won't Change They Way They Play

St Albans City may be on a difficult run but their manager has said he won’t go back on what made them so good.

The Saints have lost their last three games in the Vanarama National League South.

Their latest defeat came at Clarence Park last Saturday, when they came unstuck at home to Welling United. Watch Match Highlights Here.

But manager Ian Allinson says they need to continue to play a good brand of attacking football - and not resort to playing a different type of game.

“I want a side that expresses themselves and looks good on the eye. Perhaps that is why we have been undone again,” Allinson told the St Albans Review.

“We were beaten by a very, very well organised side, which is very well drilled in terms of experience. Maybe we lack that bit of experience.

“When we need to get hold of players in terms of too many players going forward at the same time. We need to defend properly first and foremost and keep a clean sheet.”

This weekend St Albans look to get back on track with a match at Chippenham.
