Saints Fans Get A New Striker For Christmas

St Albans City have signed striker Dernel Wynter from league rivals Braintree Town.

Wynter is as 21-year-old spent the past two seasons with Bostik League Premier side Enfield Town before joining Braintree in the summer.

He also spent part of the 2015/16 season with Ware, scoring 6 goals in sixteen matches in the Bostik North.

He impressed during pre-season, with 3 goals to his credit, but has had to be very patient since.

Wynter has only managed six starts for the Iron this season, and has been an un-used substitute on fourteen other occasions, only coming off the bench in one other game.
