United fans will remember Rowe-Turner from his first spell at the club after being signed by former Torquay manager Paul Buckle back in February 2010.
Rowe-Turner was just 20 years-old then, and largely made his appearances coming from the bench.
He left United to re-join Paul Buckle at Luton Town before moving on to Alfreton Town, Kidderminster Harriers and Nuneaton Town, making over a hundred first-team appearances during that time.
He returns to the club as an experienced player that will add know-how to the back line.
“Snoop was my back-up when he joined the club in 2010,” said player-manager Kevin Nicholson. “When he came in I felt under huge pressure to perform because the guy is a strong athlete, both quick and powerful and way more aggressive than I ever was.
“I don’t think he pushed himself enough in that time, but he’s gone away and learned about this level of football. I feel he has now realized that he needs to really put the work in to reach his great potential.
“He has a tough act to follow in Dan Butler, but he’s ready for that challenge and I’m backing him, particularly in our environment, to really kick on and show what he is capable of. He’s at an age now where he can still go on to play in the Football League for many years if he does the work. I have no doubt that he will do that here!
“I’m looking forward to working with him again.”
Rowe-Turner joins Sean McGinty, Dan Sparkes, Brendan Moore, Brett Williams, Damon Lathrope, Aman Verma, Nathan Blissett, Angus MacDonald, Luke Young, Ben Gerring, Sam Chaney, and Will Hancox in committing to the club after contract talks.
