Rowe: Shots Game Plan Worked Perfectly

Aldershot Town assistant James Rowe was full of praise for how they performed and the result they gained at Hartlepool United.

A 2-0 victory moved them up to fifth and just four points off top spot, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We restricted them, we stuck to our game plan and fully deserved the win," Rowe told the club's website.

"We worked on where we would hurt them, we were a little bit sloppy in the first-half for me that was disappointing but when we got it right, we got forward and the game management in the second half was much better

"We knew we had to manage the game properly and as the half went on, we didn't feel threatened, we aren't going to get carried away though.

"The group is looking stronger, players are coming back, now we have to look ahead to Tuesday."
