Romans Go Into Battle To Get Twerton Park Full!

Bath City are throwing open their doors this weekend as they attempt to engage the local community.

The Romans have designated Saturday’s home game with Welling United a ‘pay what you want’ fixture.

The National League South encounter with their fellow promotion-chasers is a part of a big community day at Twerton Park.

Bath are strong at home and have won their last three games so manager Jerry Gill says this is a great chance to show the city what they’re all about.

“It’s a big opportunity to showcase our club and hopefully those who come along for the first time in a while will fancy coming back,” he said.

“There is a feel-good factor around the club at the moment. We want to keep pushing forward.”

City have announced that ten per cent of gate receipts go to Great Western Air Ambulance, while there will be plenty to keep everyone busy - not just the football.
