Richards Pleased With Attitude Of Side As Unbeaten Run Remains

Gloucester City boss Marc Richards was pleased with how his team kept their unbeaten run going after a 1-1 draw at Whitehawk.

After falling behind with just three minutes gone, City equalised soon after and in a back and forth game, it eventually finished all square, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We had to ensure we got something from this game, that is exactly what we have done," Richards told the club's YouTube channel.

"To grind that point out ahead of some tough matches, was really important.

"It was frustrating to go behind so early on, but to get back level and leave with a draw means I am very happy.

"The message was to make sure we didn't leave empty handed after the start we had, so it is another result we can build on."
