Ricay bounced back from an FA Cup disappointment midweek to Chesterfied to win 1-0 at Hampton and Richmond.
Jake Robinson got the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the second-half.
“It showed the character we’ve got after Tuesday’s loss,” Brennan told the club’s official YouTube channel. “We showed a lot of togetherness and a lot of heart.
“It’s just great to win 1-0 and keep a clean sheet, it’s my favourite score line because they’re the results that bring you success.
“I thought we started really bright, but we didn’t take the lead and they pushed us back a little in the first-half, but we managed the game well.
“I just thought we were the better side during the whole 90 minutes and we showed character and that’s what good teams do.”
