Returning Regis Hand Out 1,800 Free Season Tickets

Bognor Regis’ commitment to their community has reached a new level as the club build up for their return to the Vanarama National League South this weekend.

The Rocks have already given away 1,500 free season tickets to local children and sporting clubs in the hope that they will come and see the team play on a regular basis.

That total could rise to 1,800 by the time the players take to the field on Saturday.

Bognor, who were Ryman Premier League play-off winners back in May, have made moves to get crowds at Nyewood Lane up for 2017/18.

They have dished out tickets to schools in the area and well as social and sports clubs and hope to see a surge in attendances.

They begin the season at home to Bath City on Saturday and a big crowd is anticipated.

Returning manager Jack Pearce said: “We may have had some changes off the pitch since we won promotion but our hope is that the spirit remains in the dressing room.

“We’re looking forward to what will hopefully be a great season and we hope the supporters and local area buy into what we’re trying to do as a football club.”
