Replays A Plenty With Big FA Cup Reward On The Line

By Sam Elliott

After our clubs found out their fate on Monday, tonight’s FA Cup replays take on extra significance.

Following yesterday’s draw we now know who’s pair which who - and nobody wants to halt their journey this evening.

Especially Daryl McMahon. The Hornchurch manager will face his old club Dagenham & Redbridge next but only if the National League South Urchins defeat Leiston later.

Scarborough Athletic await the winners of Chester’s replay against Stockton this evening following the weekend’s 1-1 draw.

Kidderminster Harriers want to polish off Buxton as they eye-up another brilliant run - lurking in the fourth qualifying round are Guiseley, who defeated Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

King’s Lynn Town need to beat Worksop if they’re to face Curzon Ashton next as Peterborough Sports host Royston in a replay. Weymouth know a win against Winchester seals a tie at EFL chasers Forest Green Rovers.

Chesham face Bishop’s Cleeve again after both teams fired blanks on Saturday. There’s big reward for the successful side - a home tie with Yeovil Town.

There’s a lot to still be decided as Chippenham or Weston face Haringey or Lowestoft Town. There’s a third round tie too as Alfreton Town take on Biggleswade.

Matches in the next round will take place on Saturday 12 October, with the right to play in the first round which beings in early November.

Fourth round qualifying winners earn £9,375 from the prize pot, with defeated sides banking a £3,125 cheque.
