Reece Ready For More After Debut To Remember

As debuts go, firing in a fantastic free-kick to rescue a point minutes after coming on wasn’t a bad way to introduce yourself.

But Reece Cole reckons his Maidenhead United heroics against Ebbsfleet United on Tuesday night is just the start.

The 20-year-old’s wondergoal in midweek has been an internet hit after completing the paperwork from his loan move from Brentford.

The Bees’ prospect wants to make a name for himself in the five weeks he’s with the Magpies and hopes for more of the same against Harrogate Town on Saturday.

“It felt so good to get my first goal for Maidenhead and infront of the home crowd,” he told us.

“I can’t wait to score more in front of the fans and hopefully we can climb the table.

“I’m looking forward to the experience of men’s football in my time here.

“I want to learn from the experienced players in the team and get my my name about. It was a great way to begin but I want that goal to be just the start.”
