Reborn Spitfires Are Already Impressing

Ben Williamson's double very late in the first half turned it around by Corey Whitely scored a second half penalty kick to make it a draw.

Hill, the Eastleigh manager, says he has seen improvement.

He returned to the club towards the end of last season and knew he had work ahead of him.

Yesterday he was comfortable with a point and now his attention turns to Woking on Tuesday night.

He said: "I think everyone can see things are a bit different here now.

"For one, I don't think we would have got anything out of this game last season. I'm pretty sure about that.

"There is a different atmosphere here and I'm seeing positive signs."

He adds: "On another day we win this match but I think against a side who have done very well so far this season, that's alright.

"We need to do a few things better in certain areas but it's been a decent start."
