Reason Is Ready To Kick-Start Dover’s Season

Jai Reason has returned to the National League after leaving Chelmsford City.

The midfielder left Maidstone United in the close season but has agreed to help Dover Athletic in the quest to climb the table.

It’s another boost for the White after manager Andy Hessenthaler confirmed two of his star players are staying put.

Captain Mitch Bundle and top scorer Inih Effiong have committed their futures to the Kent coast club, who are moving to day time training.

Chelmsford confirmed: “The club agreed with Jai to release him from his contract, allowing the midfielder to join the higher ranked outfit.

“City boss Rod Stringer and Head of Recruitment Steve Pitt are actively looking to bring some new players to the Club and hope to have some more news in the early stages of next week.

“All at Chelmsford City Football Club wish to thank Jai for his service to the Club so far this season and wish him well for the future.”
