The striker, 25, has joined the Dragons on loan until the end of the season from League One side Blackpool and made quite the first impression.
His debut double helped sink Hartlepool United - managed by his former TNS boss Craig Harrison - 2-0 at Victoria Park and kept Wrexham in fourth.
They could go a point behind leaders Macclesfield if they win their game in hand and the Dragons will hope Quigley is the answer to their lack of goals.
“It’s a good way to start my career at Wrexham!” he told the club’s YouTube channel.
“I was just happy to stick the ball in the back of the net. The support we’ve brought up here was fantastic - I’m a bit speechless.
“I was playing against my old manager and there was a lot said about that before the game. I had to put it to the back of my mind and get on with it.
“Hopefully I impressed the fans on my first day but this game doesn’t mean anything now, I’ve got to and do it again next week as well.”
