Tiger Woods’ Masters win marked the legend’s return to greatness 14 years on from his last success in Augusta.
But Dartford fans could be forgiven for thinking Andy Pugh’s story may be just as incredible.
He wants to end a heartbreaking season in the best way possible.
In pre-season the Darts forward suffered a terrible double leg break in a friendly game.
The 30-year-old feared not only his season was over but had concerns about playing again such was its severity.
But last week the former Cambridge United striker came off the bench for the last 15 minutes of the 1-0 home defeat to Chippenham Town.
The loss was a set-back to their National League South play-off hopes.
But Pugh now wants the club to get back on track and maybe even end personally the most difficult of years in the best way possible.
“It was incredible to be out there again even if we didn’t get the result we wanted,” he said.
“My number one goal was to play again this season and I’m so happy I managed to do that.
“It honestly meant the world to me and now I want to stay involved.
“We’ve still got a chance of going up so who knows what’s around the corner.”
