Preview: Vanarama National League

Boreham Wood aim to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 12 games at home to Woking. Both clubs have big FA Cup second round ties next Sunday but three points for either side here will surely lift them into the play-offs.

Leaders Wrexham head to sixth-placed Aldershot Town in one of the games of the day. The hosts have the joint best attack in the National League but Dean Keates' visitors boast the strongest defence.

Dover Atheltic were knocked off top spot on Tuesday night as their unbeaten run came to an end at Dagenham and Redbridge. The Whites are back at Crabble to take on AFC Fylde while Daggers get on the road to Chester for an earlier kick-off at 12.30pm. The game is live on BT Sport.

Rejuvenated Barrow, with three wins in four under new manager Ady Pennock, host Bromley, who didn't pay in mid-week due to a power cut at their ground.

At the bottom, FC Halifax Town will be visited by Eastleigh. Both sides could do with a win to ease their slide towards the relegation zone. So could Leyton Orient, who travel to second from bottom Torquay United.

The Gulls stunned Sutton United on Tuesday night, winning 1-0. The U's hope to get back on track at Guiseley.

John Askey's Macclesfield Town, in third, head south to Maidenhead United while Maidstone United, fresh from a 4-0 home defeat to Boreham Wood, visit Tranmere Rovers.

Elsewhere, rock bottom Solihull Moors play host to Gateshead as Hartlepool United head to Ebbsfleet United.
