Town returned to the summit recently but only lead the way from Salford City on goal difference with Brackley Town hoping to make it a three-team race.
Harrogate’s trip to Boston United on Saturday was postponed but they’ve won five in a row in the League.
Those victories have put Weaver’s side in the driving seat and the boss thinks his side are taking each game in their stride.
He told the Harrogate Advertiser: “We are relishing the battle that we are in. There is pressure, but it’s a good pressure, very different to if we were underperforming and at the wrong end of the table.
“We’ve never really been here before. These are new heights for us and we’re all enjoying it. We don’t feel burdened by being right up there and worried about what happens if we drop points.
“We’ve fallen off the pace and made up a gap on Salford twice already this season, so we know that we can do it again if we have to.”
