The midfielder netted twice as the Stones won 2-1 at Hartlepool United on Saturday.
It was the side’s second win in three games since parting company with their manager just after Christmas.
Simon Walton, in joint caretaker control of the team while the club find Harry Wheeler’s replacement, has been today asked to continue with the role alongside Tristan Lewis until the end of January.
Walton said: “It was just what we needed.
“Jack is a really good player, the type every manager wants in their team - when he is on his game he’s brilliant.
“He has shown before he knows where the net is and we need him to keep on doing that.
“He will get goals for us I’m sure of that - we need to be scoring from all areas of the pitch.”
Maidstone remain second from bottom of the National League, three points from safety.
Their next league game is in a week where they face a crucial relegation six pointer with Maidenhead United.
