....club Nuneaton Town to join Sky Bet League One side Peterborough United.
The England C pair signed for Nuneaton last summer and their performances, and goals, have earned them a deserved move to Posh.
Nuneaton boss Kevin Wilson said: "I'm delighted for the pair of them. It shows that hard work and dedication at this level can pay off and that our model
works.
"I've said before that I want to win promotion with the Boro, but we can only achieve that if we have a team of good players. When Football League clubs come knocking it shows that we are doing something right. We have a lot of good lads here and there are more coming in to strengthen the side.
"Myself and Steve Chettle proved at Ilkeston FC that we know how to produce good teams and good players. We've bought that model here and it's working. We are in the play-off places, players are progressing their careers further up the pyramid, and more talent is coming through.
"Aaron is a gifted goalscorer who I had my eye on for a while and I was delighted when he came here. And Callum has been with me since he was sixteen years old and has always shown a willingness to learn and improve. The club worked hard to sign the pair last summer and to see them both progress and achieve their dream is very satisfying."
Williams and Chettle won't be in the squad to face Curzon Ashton
today, but will be at the A1 Gas Force Arena to say goodbye to their team-mates and the fans.
Williams said: "I'm very grateful to Nuneaton for bringing me to the
club to show what I can do. I've loved my time here, scoring goals and helping the team get into the play-off positions. The fans have been brilliant and I'll never forget that."
Chettle was equally as appreciative and said: "Joining Peterborough is a great opportunity, which has been made possible by the Boro. The manager and coaches have been fantastic and the fans also. I'll certainly be looking for their results every week."
The deal to take Williams and Chettle to the Posh is part of a new
relationship between the two clubs and Boro fans can expect to see that bear fruit in the coming weeks.
Chairman Lee Thorn has strong links with Posh and is keen to develop these further. He said: "This new deal is great for both clubs and is a win-win situation. I can't go into too much detail at this stage, but we will definitely benefit from Aaron and Callum moving there."
