Pools Chance For Well-Travelled Striker Adeloye

Hartlepool United manager Craig Harrison has further boosted his attacking options by striking a deal to bring Tomi Adeloye to Victoria Park.

The 21-year-old front man has been training with the club over the past week and netted a hat-trick in Tuesday’s behind-closed-doors friendly against Bradford City.

That has been enough to convince Harrison to make his move and Adeloye was at the Victoria Ground on Monday to put pen to paper on a deal.

After spending time in the academies at both Charlton and Athletic and Millwall, Adeloye was snapped up by Stoke City where he scored two goals in eight games for their under-23 side.

He went on to enjoy spells with the likes of Macclesfield Town, Dover Athletic and FC United of Manchester United before most recently plying his trade at St Albans City.

Adeloye will go straight in to contention for tomorrow`s game against Barrow AFC, subject to FA and National League approval.
