Poole Bring In Prolific Marksman

Poole Town manager Tommy Killick today signed Warren Bentley from fellow Vanarama National League South club Hungerford Town.

Killick has long been an admirer of Bentley, a player who has scored goals for the likes of Alresford Town, Winchester City, Gosport Borough and Hungerford.

After losing top scorer Marvin Brooks in pre-season, the signing of Tony Lee seemed to bring the squad up to full strength. However, a cruel ACL injury to Luke Roberts again limited attacking options.

With Richard Gillespie approaching full fitness and Olly Balmer showing real promise as he progresses in senior football, the Dolphins will soon have options.

Bentley gives an immediate boost to the squad ahead of an important away trip to Whitehawk.

The competition for places that Bentley's signing will bring, can only help the Dolphins going forward.
