Plucky Ferriby Are Starting To Show Signs Of Progress

Chris Bolder reckons North Ferriby United’s draw at Nuneaton Town shows his side are moving in the right direction.

Bolder recently picked up his first win as Ferriby boss and they followed that up with a credible point in Warwickshire.

Nuneaton had won four of their five National League North games in February - leading to manager Dino Maamria being named Manager of the Month.

However, the Villagers put up stern resistance on Saturday, coming from behind twice to seal a draw.

Boss Bolder told the club’s Twitter page: “The lads showed a great attitude to come back twice from behind and got their rewards for the effort they put in.

“Nuneaton are a very good side and are in great form so to go away and pick up a draw was a great achievement.

“The lads implemented the tactics perfectly. We’re building a culture and philosophy here and the current group of players are really buying into it.

“We’re all learning with each game and training session and you can see the steady improvements taking place.”
