Plenty of National League North And South Action Ahead!

By Sam Elliott

The quest for league points may be a little limited this weekend, but with big battles at the top of each division you wont want to take your eyes off it.

The FA Trophy is hogging a lot of the focus but try telling that to the sides gunning for promotion.

Scunthorpe United have taken over the National League North leadership after an impressive few weeks.

Tamworth know they’re underdogs in their first year back in the division but they up there on merit and cannot be discounted.

They will hit the summit again on Saturday if they win but it is fair to say they’ve got their work cut out.

They are at Chester, who are starting to look the side they were last season. Seven points from a possible nine after good recent wins against Brackley Town and South Shields has the Seals back in the mood.

Scarborough will end a good week well if they beat Warrington. Three points will be enough to send them into the top seven.

Yeovil Town have just the National League South title to focus on now.

If the Glovers can recover from their quick turn around at Bath City by beating Dartford at Princes Park, they will move nine points clear at the top.

Worthing are continuing to blow hot and cold - which Rebels side will show up when they welcome St Albans City?

Farnborough are winless since October now and want to get their play-off push back on track when they head to Taunton Town.

Where next?

Dartford's Dowson Knows Why Yeovil 'Will Win The League' Dartford manager Alan Dowson has pin-pointed why Yeovil Town ‘will win the league’ - and wants his side to pay close attention.
