Player of the Year Commits to Alfreton

Alfreton Town have confirmed that Brad McGowan has re-signed for the upcoming campaign.

Last season’s player of the year made forty-eight appearances for the Reds, scoring one goal.

Boss John McDermott was thrilled to have kept one of Alfreton’s stand-out performers for the upcoming season: “It’s excellent news for everyone that we have managed to retain Brad and he has agreed to stay.

“He was last season’s player of the year for the club and it’s important we keep hold of the best players. It gives us excellent competition at the back now which is what I want; I want strength to strength in all areas.”

“I’m really looking forward to seeing him play and what he does and very excited to be working with him”.
