Platt The Magpie? David Drops In To Victory Park

Chorley had a visit from an ex-England international this afternoon – David Platt was in town to support the Magpies’ promotion charge.

Jamie Vermiglio’s men have been in red hot form this season so far, and they remain unbeaten after ten games, dropping only two points in the process.

Their next game is a huge clash with fellow promotion candidates Chester – a game that could draw huge crowds on its own.

But as the club made an announcement about ticket sales, they posted a picture of Platt whilst he dropped into the ticket office at Victory Park.

The Magpies haven’t needed much by way of motivation this season, but the 52-year-old's visit is sure to rally the troops ahead of their showdown this weekend.
