Maidstone United Holdings Ltd, which accounts for all of the club’s business activities, reported an increased turnover of £1,718,355 to June 30, 2017.
This, in turn, led to an accounting profit of £211,736, the fifth consecutive year that the Stones have recorded a profit.
It’s been a huge success story for the club since their move back to Maidstone and their new Gallagher Stadium home.
Their 3G pitch has also played its part in the financial results - proof that plastic pitches continue to be a viable choice, according to Stones co-owner Oliver Ash.
He told the club’s website: “We are delighted with the results of our fifth season’s trading.
“We see in these figures further evidence of the success of the 3G model, which has enabled the club to maintain an attractive football and social facility, which is appreciated by thousands of local people.
“Our disadvantage with regard to other competing clubs is that our stadium has been built from scratch over six years. It is too small every time we push for promotion.
“We now need to build up cash resources even faster if we are to develop the stadium further in order to be eligible for promotion to the EFL.”
