Pitmen borrow young Stag

Vanarama National League North club Hednesford Town have taken young central midfielder Chris Spencer on a month`s loan from Sky Bet League Two side Mansfield Town.

Spencer flourished at Field Mill when he was given the responsibility of the under-18 captaincy.

The 18-year-old, who was voted as Academy player of the season for 2013/14, has a strong physical presence, boasts excellent pace and isn't afraid of trying his luck with long-range attempts.

Spencer, who boasts very good set-piece ability, signed his first professional contract in May
