Pinney Departs Boro By Mutual Consent

Eastbourne Borough have announced that forward Nathaniel Pinney has left Priory Lane by mutual agreement.

Pinney joined Boro back in December 2014 from Kingstonian, for whom he signed the previous summer from Tonbridge Angels, where he made thirteen appearances in the 2013/14 season, scoring 3 times.

He started his career at Crystal Palace, making one substitute appearance in April 2009, before having loan spells with Woking, Dagenham & Redbridge, Braintree Town and Ebbsfleet United.

Upon his release from Selhurst Park in April 2012, he initially played for Croydon before joining Carshalton Athletic in October that year, going on to score 21 goals for the Robins in 2012/13.

He has also had a short loan spell with Dulwich Hamlet.

Both parties believed that due to Pinney`s wish to play more regular first-team football, and his limited chances at Priory Lane, it was agreed that he should seek opportunities elsewhere.
