But at York Street it’s a different matter. They have lost their last two home games to Brackley and Southport and Elliott wants them to give their play-off push a kick.
York City are the visitors on Saturday and the manager isn’t taking the Minstermen’s current position for granted.
“It’s good to be disappointed to only get a point at Chorley but we now need to try and get wins and performances in place at home because our away record has been pretty decent,” Elliott told Lincolnshire Live.
“It’s a big game against a big team in York and it’s important to try and put on a performance for the fans.
“It’s a hard month, but we have got off to a half decent start and hopefully we can build on it.”
