Bird, who plays mostly at centre-back, joined the Magpies from East Midlands Counties League side Dunkirk in July 2017.
He was then loaned to Evo-Stik League South outfit Leek Town in September where he spent a month.
Bird would then achieve a great moment in his career, making his EFL debut for County away at Morecambe on Boxing Day.
Alfreton manager John McDermott told his club`s official website: "We've needed more at the back in recent games and we've needed a player to do a job. Pierce is excellent for us and loves to attack the ball and head the ball. We've brought someone in to do that,
"He likes to win it, he's aggressive and has played at non-League level before against strong sides. It's what we need, and he will be important for us tomorrow against North Ferriby United.
"It will be a tough game, they have excellent spirit for the position they are in. We need to head there and be mentally strong and work as a team, as a unit and show the fans that the players care about this club. We aim to come back with three points tomorrow".
