Pennock Gets His New Challenge As He Heads To Singapore

By Sam Elliott

Former Barrow and Welling United manager Ady Pennock is back in football - and it’s quite an adventure!

Pennock has taken over at Brunei DPMM, who play in the Singapore Premier League.

Tony Pulis’ former assistant at Stoke City is charged with turning things around at the club.

Rene Weber has left after a disappointing season where the Wasps could only muster a third-place finish.

Pennock of course brings plenty of experience to the role.

He kept Barrow in the National League on the final day of last season after replacing Paul Cox mid-season.

He has also been in charge at Forest Green Rovers and Gillingham.

Pennock says he “can’t wait” for the challenge in Singapore as he packs his bags for Asia.
